TWEET FOR CHILDLINE

Allsop is an independent property consultancy auction house based in Dublin. Last year they raised €50,000 for ISPCC Childline. This year they are doing it again and calling on people to get involved by tweeting #allforthegood and they will donate €1* per tweet (* up to a maximum of €5,000) to ISPCC.

Commenting on this campaign, Grainia Long, CEO, ISPCC, said

At ISPCC Childline we are delighted to work with Allsop again this year, commencing with the #allforthegood campaign. This initiative aims to raise €5,000 for Childline which will help to answer the over one thousand calls the service receives every day from children and young people from every part of Ireland.

• Childline receives the majority of its 2,300 calls and messages per day after 6pm each evening, when most other support services are closed.
• Childline receives just 10% Government funding which means that 90% of its costs have to be raised through the generosity of individual donors and corporate supporters.
• ISPCC support workers and volunteer mentors also work with over 1,500 individual children and families nationwide each year
